Secondary Stage

In the Secondary Stage, Guru Nanak English School focuses on Multidisciplinary approach and in-depth understanding of core subjects.

The Secondary stage is structured to provide a balanced education, allowing students to specialise in subjects of interest while maintaining a broad academic foundation. It also prepares students for the Class X Board Exams.

Subjects are as follows:

  1. English
  2. Hindi / Sanskrit
  3. Mathematics (Standard / Basic)
  4. Science ( Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
  5. Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics)
  6. Physical Education
  7. Arts and Aesthetics
  8. Skill-based subjects (as per CBSE options)
  9. Optional Subject:
    1. Vocal (Hindustani)
    2. Painting
    3. Elements of Business
    4. Information Technology / Computer Science

At Guru Nanak English School, Class IX and X students are not only preparing for their academic success but are also encouraged to develop the skills needed for personal growth, time management, and stress management. We offer additional resources such as:

  • Mock Exams and Practice Papers: Regular assessments and practice tests to help students get comfortable with exam formats and time management.

  • Study Sessions: Group study sessions and individual tutoring available to clarify doubts and help students focus on challenging subjects.

  • Counseling: Regular counseling sessions to address any emotional or academic concerns students may face.
